To those of you who may not
know, I have an older brother, Ralph who has recently found his calling -
photography. He does not have any schooling in this department, but he
just loves to capture what is beautiful to him. The following images were captured this summer in the town of Sault Sainte Marie in Michigan. So far, his favorite subjects of interest are sunsets, cloud formations and flowers. Please enjoy these shots and stay tuned for more surprisingly, breathtaking images!!!

2012 Walk to End Alzheimer's - San Jose, California
The reason I walk to end Alzheimer's is my Mom. We lost her the day
before her birthday in 2010.
After check-in, we had the opportunity to walk around and gather goodies
- one had to be earned - the awesome purple T-Shirt.
For a small donation of $10, you can get a flag in memory of the loved one
you wish to honor.
I did not plan this. I just took the picture of this darling little girl
in front of me in line to walk. Notice the sign in behind says STAR.
She definitely is.
You guessed it. I am the one decked out in purple - dig that fuzzy hat, man.
I ended up chatting and walking with the lovely lady next to me :D
Counting down to walk . . . 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . . GO!!!!!
Planting the Flower!
Three miles later . . . we get cheers from volunteers and a walk button.

Chinese New Year Event - San Francisco
Just a few pics of the sites of the evening
lady dressed as "cockroach" hence the feathery antennae on her head
the lovely archway detail as you enter the room
one of three or four lion heads
that were later enlightened as
the lights were dimmed
from where we were seated, this lion head
was right behind us
a playful perspective of the Gu-Zheng
and the lady's hands working the strings
I met Weishan as I was taking pictures of her
student who also played at this event
Unfortunately, all the video that I shot ended up in disaster. They were getting ready to dim the lights and put the red aura lights on just as I started filming the student playing the Gu-Zheng.
